Getting Started¶
This section is the quickest path for a new user to become productive in Emakin. Follow these steps to sign in, open your work, start a process, and set up delegation when needed.
Before You Begin¶
- Make sure you have the Emakin web address provided by your organisation.
- Confirm that your account has been created or that you have received an invitation email.
- Keep in mind that some menu items depend on your role and permissions.
Your First 10 Minutes¶
1. Access Emakin¶
Open the Emakin web address in your browser and sign in with the method enabled by your organisation.
Result: You reach the Emakin workspace and can begin using the system.
2. Open Your Worklist¶
Select Worklist in the navigation panel to see tasks assigned to you, your role, your organisational unit, or one of your groups.
Result: You can review, sort, filter, and open the work items that require your attention.
3. Start a Process¶
Select Folders, open the relevant folder, and choose the process you want to start.
Result: A new process instance is created and its form opens in the workspace.
4. Use Cases and Channels¶
If your organisation uses channel-based collaboration, open a channel to follow messages, manage cases, and coordinate work with your team.
Result: You can monitor shared work, discuss updates, and manage related cases in one place.
5. Set Delegation When You Are Away¶
Use delegation if you need a colleague to handle a task for you or cover your work for a period of time.
Result: Work continues without interruption while you are unavailable.
