Platform Services¶
Platform Services groups application-level integrations that are not part of authentication, messaging, or security. It contains AI Providers, Storage and Calendar, and Editors and Search.
AI Providers¶
Use this sub-tab to configure the AI services available to the application, including each model's supported input modalities. See AI Providers for the complete settings and domain-override behavior.
Storage and Calendar¶
File Services¶
File services let users select files from integrated external systems.
Client Type¶
Defines the file-service type:
- Desktop and Web Cam are built in.
- Google Drive and Office365 use a service configured under Integrated Services.
Service¶
Integrated service reference. This field is shown only for OpenAuth-backed file services.
Name¶
Display name shown to users.
Scopes¶
Requested OpenAuth scopes. Leave this value empty to request read-only access. This field is hidden for the built-in Desktop and Web Cam services.
Calendar Services¶
Calendar services let users connect their Emakin calendar behavior to external calendar providers.
Client Type¶
Defines the calendar-service type:
- Delegation is built in.
- Google and Office365 use a service configured under Integrated Services.
Service¶
Integrated service reference for OpenAuth-backed calendar services.
Name¶
Display name shown to users.
Scopes¶
Requested OpenAuth scopes. Leave this value empty to request the provider's default access rights. This field is hidden for Delegation.
Editors and Search¶
Editor Services¶
Editor services define WOPI-compatible editors that let users edit files without downloading and re-uploading them.
Name¶
Display name of the editor service.
Discovery Url¶
WOPI discovery URL. Emakin reads the discovery document from each enabled editor service; the server at this address must provide a compatible WOPI discovery response.
Full Text Services¶
The Tika Service Url field stores the address of the Tika-based full-text extraction service.
