Licenses¶
The Licenses tab is used to register license packages and review the effective entitlements of an Emakin application and its tenants. The tab is available after the application configuration has been created.
When to Use This Page¶
Use this page when you need to:
- import a new license
- review or remove a registered license
- check whether a license is valid or expired
- compare billable users with the granted user capacity
- review licensed feature scopes and MCP credit balances
- inspect tenant-level entitlements
- investigate license validation or capacity problems
License behavior:
- effective entitlements include only packages that are active, within their validity dates, correctly signed, and issued for the current application identity
- a failed license evaluation starts a seven-day grace period
- after that grace period expires, the application enters license hard-lock and tenant login and token-based access are blocked until licensing becomes valid again
Register New License¶
Paste the complete contents of the license file into the License File field and select Register.
After registration, the registered package list and the effective entitlement sections are refreshed. Review the validation result, licensed scopes, user capacity, and credit balances before relying on newly enabled features. If the package cannot be registered, the error is displayed in the validation result area.
Registered Licenses¶
This table lists the license packages currently registered for the application. The most recently imported packages are shown first.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Delete | Removes the package after confirmation. |
| Package Id | Unique identifier of the license package. |
| Product | Product for which the package was issued. |
| Application | Application identity encoded in the package. |
| Coverage | Indicates whether the package applies to the application or to a tenant. |
| Tenant Id | Tenant identifier for a tenant-scoped package; empty for an application-scoped package. |
| Granted Users | User capacity granted by the package. |
| Feature Scopes | Product capabilities granted by the package. |
| Credit Meters | Credit meters supplied by the package, such as an MCP credit meter. |
| Imported At | Date and time at which the package was registered. |
| Expires At | Package expiration date and time; empty when the package has no expiration date. |
| Status | Current package status. Only active packages contribute to effective entitlements. |
| Valid | Whether the stored package signature is valid. Application-identity matching is evaluated when effective entitlements are calculated. |
| Expired | Whether the package expiration date has passed. |
Deleting a package can immediately change the effective feature scopes, user capacity, and credit balances. Review the application and tenant entitlement sections after deletion.
Application Effective Entitlement¶
This section summarizes the combined entitlement currently effective for the application. It is calculated from active, date-valid application-scoped packages whose signature and application identity are valid.
Application¶
Shows the configured application name.
Licensed Scopes¶
Lists the feature scopes currently available to the application.
MCP Credits¶
Lists each credit meter with its remaining and granted balance. The entry also indicates whether the balance applies to the application or to a tenant.
Validation Result¶
Shows the result of the current license evaluation. The result identifies a successful evaluation or a problem such as no active valid package, exceeded user capacity, or a tenant model violation.
Users¶
Shows the billable user count and granted application capacity in the format billable / granted.
User Limit Exceeded¶
Indicates whether the billable user count exceeds the granted application capacity. When the capacity is exceeded, licensed capabilities may no longer be included in the effective entitlement.
Tenant Effective Entitlements¶
This table summarizes the effective entitlement for each Active tenant domain. Disabled and Deleting domains are not included in this dashboard.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Tenant | Tenant domain name. |
| Granted Users | User capacity available to the tenant. |
| Billable Users | Current billable user count for the tenant. |
| User Limit Exceeded | Whether the tenant's billable user count exceeds its granted capacity. |
| Licensed Scopes | Feature scopes currently effective for the tenant. |
| MCP Credits | Remaining and granted credit balances available to the tenant. |
Tenant rows can be sorted and are loaded in pages. License evaluation may continue in the background when the tab is first opened; while it is loading, the page refreshes the entitlement information automatically.
