Defines a connection with a rest service.

Connected service address is specified on Url property. This property can be changed any time and can contain parameters that specified in curly braces like 'http://targetserver/file/{id}'.

Authentication

By default client does not include any authentication information and all performed calls executed as anonymously.

Domain Credentials

Requests are automatically authenticated if Url matches to any credential information on domain settings. NTLM and Basic authentication methods are supported.

Login Service Authentication

If rest service target is related to a known login service you can acquire authentication tokens with RestClient.Authenticate method to impersonate to a user. Following login services are currently supported;

  • Google
  • Windows Live
  • Office 365
  • Linked In

Login services can be disabled or custom login services can be added by system administrator.
