Ema for Process Developers

Ema is Emakin's AI assistant for process builders and solution developers. Use Ema while reviewing or improving a process definition to turn a business need into a clear next step.

What Ema Can Help With

On process and process-version pages, Ema can help you:

  • understand a process flow, its steps, and its current design
  • find gaps, unclear handoffs, or areas that need review
  • review forms, business data, and scripts in the context of a process
  • suggest improvements for a stated business goal
  • validate a proposed change and explain the result

Ema is a companion for process-definition work. It does not replace testing, review, or the developer's responsibility for the final design.

How to Use Ema

  1. Open the process or process version you want to work on.
  2. Open Ema from the assistant button.
  3. Describe the business goal, the current problem, and any constraints that must be preserved.
  4. Answer any follow-up questions and review Ema's recommendation.
  5. Review and validate every proposed or applied change before using it in a live process.

Ema automatically uses its development context when you open it from a process-definition page. For broader questions, be specific about the process, form, data, or script you want to discuss.

Work Safely

Use Safe Mode when you want analysis, explanation, or a proposal without changing the process definition. When you need a change, state the target and desired result clearly, then review the outcome and validate the process.

Development capabilities are separate from everyday workflow assistance and must be enabled by an administrator. If Ema is unavailable or you cannot use development assistance, contact your Emakin administrator.
