Organization Database¶

The Organization Database stores the structure of the organisation inside Emakin. It is used to model organisation units, positions, users, and the relationships between them.

What This Section Is For¶

Use the organisation database pages when you need to:

• design or update the organisation structure
• manage positions and users
• understand reporting and assignment hierarchy
• prepare organisation data used by permissions, routing, and delegation

Reading the Diagram¶

The existing documentation describes the visual model as follows:

• each outer rectangle represents an organisation unit
• the large dark rectangle inside an organisation unit represents a position
• the grey rectangle inside the position represents the assigned employee
• positions with a white cube icon represent manager positions
• arrows show one-to-many hierarchical relationships between units and positions
